A Realistic Guide to Glow-up Mentally and Physically

Here are the perfect 8 steps to have the glow-up of your dream. 4 physical and mental things to do for the perfect glow up.

What do you actually envision when you think of glowing up? I’m aware that in the past, I used to believe that a glow simply meant that you looked better than you had the previous year, month, or even the previous week. And most of us believe it to be what a glow-up is.

But today I’m here to share with you that looking good isn’t the only aspect of having a glow-up because, plus let’s face it, anyone can wake up today and change almost everything about their appearance and still not fell good about themselves.

But there’s a better way to have a glow-up and a long-lasting one.

The truth is, many people make the effort to take care of their looks and look better but are still not content or happy with themselves. And the reason they aren’t is because they focused on the physical job and ignored the mental part.

A Special Note For Someone Special!

Just to add, just because someone says there’s something wrong with your appearance doesn’t mean they’re right—they’re just mistaken. However, keep in mind that your thoughts are what really count. More significantly, remember that you were faithfully and wonderfully created and that everything about you has been beautifully created.

This blog post will walk you through what a glow-up is and how to experience one in the healthiest possible mental and physical ways.

Let's get stated!

Mental glow up guide

1. Begin including exercise in your daily routine.

Let’s face it, when we hear about exercise, it’s almost related to weight loss or improving one’s appearance. It’s true that exercise can bring these two benefits that we love so much, but they shouldn’t be our only motivation because there are a lot more reasons to exercise. For example, exercise can improve your mental health by making your mind clearer, making you naturally happier, and making you feel more at ease with your body.

Start working out for your physical and emotional health rather than pursuing a certain appearance; you’ll appreciate it more this way.

2. Start Changing Your Eating Habits And Perception of Food.

We all know that a lot of us don’t have a positive relationship with eating. We often assume that those who don’t eat a lot behave appropriately when we observe them. And occasionally, we assume that people who are always eating are unhealthy when we see them. The truth is that both under eating and overeating can be unhealthy.

It is not about how much or how little you eat. What you eat and why you eat are the crucial factors. Having more healthy eating habits will take you a long way by helping you mentally and physically, but remember, starting small is not a problem, and that can be the best way to start. And remember, eating better leads to improved appearance and well-being.

3. Start getting your 8-7 hours of sleep

Let’s face it, none of us can function properly if we don’t get enough rest. Lack of sleep affects every aspect of your body and brain, not just the area around your eyes where you gain the “sleeping bag” look. We will become more exhausted and lazy the less sleep we get.

And as we all know, being tired and lazy is the perfect recipe for being miserable, unproductive, and unmotivated—three things that will negatively affect every aspect of your life.

Say it out loud with me: well slept, well lived.

4. Start journaling and praying

One of the nicest things you might wish you had begun doing sooner is journaling or praying. They will increase your sense of peacefulness because everyone wants something or someone to whom they can vent their emotions. When you express your feelings in writing or in prayer to God, you begin to feel better and different. I suggested that you give it a try because I have been using it for a while and it has been successful for me.

PHYSICAL GLOW UP!

1. Find your personal style

Your personal style will advance if you wear things you enjoy and that flatter your body type. You may always start with what you love and enjoy, even if you are unsure of where to start. Look at the characters or individuals you’ve always admired for what they’re wearing, and pick up some fashion tips from them.

Don’t buy too much and discard all of your old clothing at once; instead, wear what you already have and gradually add new items to your wardrobe to watch the magic unfold.

2. Start taking better care of your skin

Even though your skin may not be in the best condition right now, there are always ways to improve it. You won’t regret trying to learn more about your skin type and the products that are best for you. Give your skin the love and attention it deserves by following a morning and evening skincare routine.

3. Always look after your hair and keep it in good condition

Amazingly, when it comes to your appearance, your hair will make the largest difference. No matter what else is not done, if your hair is done neatly and nicely, your face will naturally look better, and you won’t need to worry about applying any makeup if you don’t want to.

Bonus Tips:

While your hair can dramatically enhance your face, don’t forget to complete the appearance with a set of earrings. Once you’ve done those two things, you won’t even need to worry about applying makeup if you don’t want to.

4. Establish a solid morning and night routine

The best thing you can start doing to avoid wasting your day inactive is to establish a consistent morning and evening routine. Make a list of the things you need to get done when you get up; if they are things you do every day, you are more likely to accomplish them. These objects might be present every day at the same time and location. It can be something you do alone or with someone else, such as taking care of your skin, going for a walk every day, having breakfast, studying, etc.
